Azhar and Younus Khan (127) extended their partnership for the third wicket to 212 before Pakistan were dismissed for 365 to set England a challenging target.

Australia Strike First With 32-Run Win Over India
|
Australia opened the Commonwealth Bank One-Day International series by beating India by 32 runs in a rain-reduced match in Melbourne.
In a game limited to 32 overs per side, the home side made 216 for five thanks to 67 from Matthew Wade and 61 not out from David Hussey before Clint McKay returned four for 20 to dismiss India for 151 in reply.

Brett Lee Sidelined With Broken Foot
|
Australian fast bowler Brett Lee has been ruled out of the Commonwealth Bank One-Day International series after he suffered a broken foot during the second Twenty20 International in Melbourne.
Lee was hit on the right foot during the match and although he was able to continue playing, subsequent scans have revealed a fracture of his small toe and he has been ruled out for up to six weeks.
